Forward Motion Dance Company: A Preview of Cape Fear Arts in Motion

Join us in celebrating the artistry of dance with Forward Motion Dance Company, featuring new choreography and performed by company dancers and guest performers. This special program offers an intimate preview of new works, paired with live music by a flutist and film, and is a sneak peek of dances that will be featured in the upcoming FMD annual ARTS IN MOTION performances on September 17-18, 2026, at Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts Main Stage. The afternoon will also feature a new piece performed by teen dancers from local studios. At the end of the performance, enjoy an interactive discussion with the artists, inviting audiences to engage more deeply with their creative process.
